Virginia Officials Recognize MENC
In July, MENC received letters of congratulations from Virginia Governor Tim Kaine and Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) regarding the 2008 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band's receipt of the Award of Excellence from the American Society of Association Executives. The letters recognized MENC's efforts to promote the accomplishments of music students and the importance of music education to the general public.
