National Anthem Day 2008: September 12

Music teachers around the nation will hold National Anthem Day 2008 events on Friday, September 12 to showcase the important role music education plays in teaching American historical and musical traditions.  Events will center around the singing of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at 9:00 a.m. local time.
