The Music, Dance & Theatre Department of the William J. Maxwell College of Arts and Sciences at New Jersey City University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre Voice and Coordinator of Musical Theatre Studies. Teaching load is 12 credits per semester and includes courses in Musical Theatre related studies as well as coordination of Musical Theatre productions. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to student advisement, curriculum development, committee assignments, service to the University and continued professional performing and scholarly endeavor. Teaching experience at the College level is recommended but not necessary. Experience in professional musical theatre (e.g., Broadway and/or a National touring company) is preferred. A degree in Musical Theatre Studies, Voice Performance (or equivalent degree) from an appropriately accredited institution is required.
